Note the numbers in the article - James Hansen and other climate scientists say that 350ppm is the safe limit and above that there is irreversible climate change, here they talk about the impossibility to stay under 550ppm!

Sounds like a great idea! When a big windfarm was proposed for the area where I live, residents were up in arms. Maybe a more local solution would be more acceptable here, too.
